Lucy would never make it as a show dog. They are always so well-groomed on TV. Lucy gets herself dirty whenever she has the chance. There is one low spot next to our walking path that collects water. Lucy finds it every time and body surfs though it. The result is usually a dirty belly and paws, but this time she managed to splash mud onto her neck and face. What a tomboy!

DOT -- Not a Show Dog, Part I
Lucy would never make it as a show dog. They are always so well-groomed on TV. Lucy gets herself dirty whenever she has the chance. There is one low spot next to our walking path that collects water. Lucy finds it every time and body surfs though it. The result is usually a dirty belly and paws, but this time she managed to splash mud onto her neck and face. What a tomboy!

She looks a whole lot happier than those show dogs. My guys are show dogs, but they much prefer to roll in mud.

Show dogs are just so prim and proper... lol... she looks like a roll in the mud and give you a big lap on the face kinda girl to me!
I could never handle having a showdog, having to keep them all prissy and pretty. It's more fun to watch them romp and play and get dirty.
Yours is a real pretty girl!
