DOT -- Sticks in Yard
Lucy thinks the aftermath of Hurricane Ike is kind of cool. The yard was filled with her favorite play thing, sticks!

Unlike Lucy, I don't think it's so cool. A giant tree limb landed on my house. Luckily it landed on the roof, but did not pierce the roof. Obviously it's got to be removed by a professional. But if this is all that happened to me, I'm ok with it. I was on vacation in Telluride and missed the whole event and the couple of days without electricity afterwards.

Lucy has so many things to check out, too!
Thankfully it doesn't seem to have done too much damage... and Lucy gets to have fun with all the sticks!
Oh boy.. I'm glad everyone at your house is OK. That storm was just terrible! It seems like when there is anything going on over here Charli is right in the thick of it. She is like a two year old. Lucy sounds like that too.
Ooh! You are lucky that is all the damage you sustained. Now about those sticks....my niece's dog Daisy, a white lab likes to eat sticks. Daisy just came through an abdominal surgery - ($3500) because sticks were lodged in her intestines. Sections of her intestines needed to be removed. Just a word of warning for you! ~ Robyn
More sticks means more toys for play time!
Glad to hear you're safe and there wasn't any serious damage to your house there.
I so glad you (and Lucy!) are ok! KT
I'm finally getting caught up after being down for so long.
Wow, thank goodness you only had minor damage. Of course, Lucy looks as if she is just enjoying everything, but I'm sure she wasn't too happy during the storm. Good to know you both are okay.
Lucy has alot to keep her busy now, and you do too (or the professionals do). I'm glad you weren't home when it happened and nobody got hurt.
