Sunday I made cookies for Lucy! The ingredients were all very wholesome, people-quality things.
They were super easy to make. (I truly love this mixer.)
I hadn't made cut-out cookies in years. But like riding a bike, you never forget how. It all comes back really quickly.
Done! Lucy was really interested in the good smells coming from the cooling cookies.
When I let her eat one, she snorffled it down! Of course I had to give her a few more.
I highly recommend making Gingerbread Mailmen (or Gingerbread Dog Bones) for your pups!

Fun! I've promised my fur-girls "we" will make cookies this year. These two have never had me-made dog cookies...
Thank you for the recipe. Gingerbread is good for tummy upsets and Samba has been having some tummy problems from the medicine she's taking. I'll make some of these for her this week.

MaggieMae says, "MMMM"... they look good! My neighbor also makes homemade treats for her dog, and gave me the recipes, but I've yet to try them. The gingerbread sounds interesting.
Oh, what a lucky girl! Thor loves cookies. He also loves spice cake. We had to use a cookie this year to lure him into the truck to come home, because there was so much to see at the tree farm.
OMG! That picture of Lucy reaching for the biscuit is too cute. I have the same cookie cutter, and I'll keep my eyes out for a mailman cutter. I'll have to try this recipe during the holiday break.
Aww... I keep promising the kids I'll make them cookies again... must do that soon. LOVE that last pic - great shot!
